Tourist from China Dies after Diving in Alor

ASIATODAY.ID, LABUAN BAJO – A tourist from China named Zhou Wei Gang died after diving in Alor Kecil Waters, Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The victim was rushed to hospital but he could not be saved.

Head of the Maumere Search and Rescue Agency Office, Supriyanto Ridwan, who was contacted from Labuan Bajo, Tuesday, September 10 2024, explained that the incident experienced by the victim was reported by the KLM 02 pinisi ship agent named Imran on Tuesday morning, where the KLM 02 pinisi ship was anchored around Alor Waters. It is small and allows 11 guests, including the victim, to enjoy the beauty of the sea.

At that time, the victim dived in the Alor Kecil waters to a depth of 25 meters.
