ASIATODAY.ID, JEDDAH — The Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition 1447 AH held its main session under the theme “From Vision to Reality: Integrated Sectors in Serving Pilgrims.”
The event marked a major step toward realizing the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 — transforming the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem through innovation, efficiency, and seamless collaboration among key sectors.
Cross-Sector Collaboration: A New Era in Hajj Services
The main session brought together high-ranking officials, including Minister of Hajj and Umrah and Chairman of the Pilgrim Experience Program Committee Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majed Al-Hogail, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh Al-Jasser, Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel, and Director General of Public Security Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami.
Discussions centered on how integration between public and private sectors can enhance service quality — from transportation and accommodation to healthcare — ensuring a safe, smooth, and fulfilling experience for every pilgrim.
Digital Transformation Redefining the Pilgrimage Experience
Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah highlighted that the Kingdom is undergoing a qualitative transformation in Hajj and Umrah services through digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and smart solutions that improve efficiency and simplify procedures throughout the pilgrims’ journey — from arrival to departure.
“Under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia has provided exceptional care and continuous support to pilgrims from around the world. The transformation we see today is the realization of a clear vision — turning aspiration into tangible progress,” said Dr. Al-Rabiah on November 10, 2025.
From Makkah to the World: Vision 2030 in Action
This year’s conference, themed “From Makkah to the World,” underscores the Kingdom’s ambition to position Makkah as a global model for spiritual and operational excellence in pilgrimage management.
The Pilgrim Experience Program, a cornerstone of Saudi Vision 2030, aims to create a holistic, human-centered pilgrimage journey that enriches pilgrims’ spiritual and emotional experiences while setting international benchmarks in service delivery.
The session concluded with an emphasis on maintaining cross-sector coordination among ministries and institutions. Such collaboration is seen as essential to ensuring that every aspect of the pilgrimage — logistics, health, safety, and hospitality — works in harmony to deliver a world-class experience.
This reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s unwavering commitment to serving pilgrims and Umrah performers, while reinforcing its leadership in innovation and excellence in religious tourism. (SPA)
