ASIATODAY.ID, MADINAH — Madinah Region is experiencing a surge in innovative investment projects across the tourism, accommodation, and hospitality sectors, fueled by government support, improved investment climate, and extensive infrastructure development, resulting in new projects that enrich the visitor experience.

The investment focuses on developing sites on iconic mountains, such as Mount Uhud and Mount Ayr, with road and service enhancements to create attractive viewpoints that highlight the region’s cultural and geographical diversity.

A prominent example of this investment is a new luxury hospitality project in Al-Hanakiyah Governorate, located 100 km east of Madinah.

Capitalizing on the region’s unique desert landscape, the project uses natural rocks and sand in its design and targets winter tourism by offering diverse desert-themed programs.

The project owner cited increasing demand for specialized hospitality and the desire to leverage Madinah’s vast natural resources as the motivation for this development, which aims to revitalize and diversify the region’s tourism sector. (SPA)
