ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA — With the knockout stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup about to begin, Indonesian sports community platform Mansion Sports FC has launched a last-call campaign for football fans to predict the tournament’s eventual champion through its MBracket Challenge, offering a total prize pool of IDR100 million (around US$6,000).
The competition closes on June 27, just before the opening match of the Round of 32 under the tournament’s expanded format.
The 2026 World Cup has produced a series of surprises, including debutant Cape Verde earning draws against former world champions Spain and Uruguay. Meanwhile, Lionel Messi has continued to rewrite football history, with a hat-trick that cemented his status as the World Cup’s all-time leading goalscorer.
This year’s tournament also features a new format that allows eight third-placed teams to advance to the knockout stage, adding greater unpredictability and excitement to the competition.
Capitalizing on the global football fever, Mansion Sports FC is inviting supporters to test their football knowledge by predicting every knockout-round result, from the Round of 32 through to the final and eventual champion.
“This challenge is more than just a game. It is an opportunity for football fans to prove who can best read the tournament from the group stage all the way to the final,” Mansion Sports FC said in a statement on Friday, June 26.
Participants must have an official Mansion Sports FC account and may submit only one completed tournament bracket. Predictions are final once submitted and cannot be changed. The organizer said it reserves the right to disqualify participants found using multiple accounts or engaging in fraudulent activity.
With registration closing before the first Round of 32 match kicks off, Mansion Sports FC is urging football fans not to miss what it describes as the final opportunity to compete for the Rp100 million prize while showcasing their football prediction skills during the world’s biggest sporting event.
