ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA — Artificial intelligence (AI) adoption in Indonesia is entering a new phase as companies increasingly move beyond experimentation toward practical implementation across business operations.

Tencent Cloud, the cloud business of global technology company Tencent, is expanding its international AI agent solutions in Indonesia to help enterprises improve productivity, efficiency, and innovation through advanced AI capabilities.

The company introduced its latest AI solutions during AI Executive Day in Jakarta, an event that brought together more than 150 business leaders, technology executives, and partners to explore how AI agents can support daily business activities — from workplace productivity and creative production to data analysis and enterprise automation.

Unlike traditional AI tools that primarily respond to commands, AI agents are designed to understand objectives, plan workflows, execute multi-step processes, and deliver actionable outcomes for businesses.

Bringing AI into Real-World Business Operations

During the event, Tencent Cloud introduced three key AI-powered solutions: Tencent WorkBuddy, Tencent Design Miora, and TokenHub.

Tencent WorkBuddy is an AI-powered productivity solution designed to help professionals handle complex tasks such as market research, data analysis, and data visualization. The platform enables users to coordinate AI agents to complete multiple stages of work while supporting various professional scenarios, including finance, legal, and marketing.

Since its launch in China, WorkBuddy has gained significant adoption as businesses explore new ways to integrate AI into everyday workflows.

Meanwhile, Tencent Design Miora provides an AI-native creative studio that helps designers, content creators, and marketers develop consistent visual assets across brands and campaigns. Through natural language instructions, Miora can support the creation of production-ready materials, including graphics, videos, 3D assets, and user interface (UI) designs.

Tencent Cloud also introduced TokenHub, a Model-as-a-Service platform that provides centralized access to multiple leading large language models (LLMs). The solution enables companies to combine different AI models while managing performance, cost efficiency, and token allocation through a unified platform.

Supporting Indonesia’s Digital Transformation

Vice President of Tencent Cloud and Vice President of APAC, Tencent Cloud International, Jimmy Chen, said Indonesian enterprises are increasingly shifting from AI trials toward practical implementation.

“Companies in Indonesia are increasingly moving from AI experimentation toward real implementation. Through AI agents such as WorkBuddy and Miora, we help enterprises delegate complex execution processes to AI, allowing teams to focus on innovation and better decision-making,” he said.

Tencent Cloud is committed to supporting Indonesian companies in modernizing operations, adopting AI confidently, and expanding their capabilities in the global digital economy.

The company continues to strengthen partnerships across Indonesia’s technology ecosystem, including telecommunications, digital platforms, and financial services.

One of the highlights at AI Executive Day was Tencent Cloud’s collaboration with XLSMART in large-scale cloud modernization and AI implementation. The partnership supports operational transformation through cloud infrastructure and AI adoption while maintaining reliable services for millions of users.

Tencent Cloud has also supported GoTo, Indonesia’s leading digital ecosystem, through a major cloud migration initiative aimed at creating a more scalable and resilient technology foundation.

In the financial sector, Tencent Cloud provides solutions that support digital banking operations, electronic customer verification (eKYC), cybersecurity, and digital content delivery. The company works with organizations including Bank Neo Commerce, BRI, DANA, and Telkomsel to leverage cloud and AI technologies for improved services and customer experiences.

Indonesia as a Strategic AI Market in Asia

Backed by global infrastructure covering 66 availability zones across 23 markets and regions, including three locations in Indonesia, Tencent Cloud continues to expand its presence in the country’s growing digital economy.

The company views Indonesia as a strategic market in Asia, where businesses are increasingly adopting AI to strengthen competitiveness, improve operational efficiency, and create new opportunities.

The expansion of AI solutions by global technology players reflects Indonesia’s growing role in Asia’s digital transformation landscape, with artificial intelligence emerging as a key driver of future economic growth. (AT Network)
