Minister Prabowo expressed his hope to Ambassador Boroujerdi that Indonesia and Iran could build more defense cooperation in the future, considering that Iran is quite advanced and independent in developing defense technology, including making the main equipment for its own weapons system.

Prabowo also expressed his belief that Ambassador Boroujerdi could play a big role in further strengthening bilateral relations between Iran and Indonesia.

“I am sure that His Excellency will play an important role in enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries. We are committed to working together to achieve our common goals,” said Prabowo.

In recent weeks, Prabowo has regularly received visits from a number of ambassadors from friendly countries.

On Friday, March 7 2024, Prabowo also received a visit from the Egyptian Ambassador to Indonesia Yasser Hassan Farag Elshemy.
