“AirAsia Airlines flights are expected to attract more Malaysian and international tourists to Labuan Bajo. “Connectivity is the key to increasing the number of foreign tourist visits to Labuan Bajo, especially since direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to the super priority destination Labuan Bajo have been long awaited,” said Sandiaga, in his statement Wednesday, September 4 2024.

AirAsia flights on the Kuala Lumpur-Labuan Bajo route will operate three times per week, namely every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

For the Kuala Lumpur-Labuan Bajo route, flight number AK 336 is scheduled to depart from Kuala Lumpur at 11.10 local time and arrive at Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport at 14.30 WITA carrying around 165 passengers.

Then the Labuan Bajo-Kuala Lumpur route with flight number AK 337 is scheduled to depart from Labuan Bajo at 14.55 WITA and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 18.35 local time.

Dato’ Captain Fareh Mazputra, Managing Director of AirAsia Malaysia, expressed his gratitude for the support of all parties who have helped launch the route.
