“At Imbi Park, tourists will enjoy a music festival held by the Jayapura City Arts Council,” he said.

The tourists will be in Jayapura City for seven hours before continuing their tour to Papua New Guinea (PNG) to Australia.

It is said, there are actually two thousand foreign tourists who visit Jayapura City using cruise ships, but only one thousand tourists are confirmed to visit tourist destinations.

“Later on January 25 2025 there will also be visits from foreign tourists to Jayapura City so it is hoped that their arrival can increase income for business actors,” he said again.

The Dutch-flagged Noordam cruise ship has been visiting Indonesia since December 2024, bringing thousands of foreign tourists to big cities in the country, including Surabaya, Bali and Lombok. (AT Network)
