12 Ambassadors from Friendly Countries Start Serving in Indonesia

ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received letters of credence from 12 extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors from friendly countries.

The presentation of the credentials was held in the Credentials Room, Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (23/10/2023).

The procession for the presentation of credentials began with the playing of the national songs of each friendly country after the ambassadors arrived at the Merdeka Palace.

The 12 ambassadors from friendly countries received by President Jokowi were:

  1. Sandeep Chakravorty, LBBP Ambassador Appointed as Resident of the Republic of India for the Republic of India;
  2. George Monteiro Prata, LBBP Ambassador Designate Resident of the Federated Republic of Brazil to the Republic of Indonesia;
  3. Daniel Blockert, LBBP Ambassador Designate Resident of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Indonesia;
  4. Dominic James Robert Jermey OBE CVO, LBBP Ambassador Designate Resident of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Indonesia;
  5. Tomáš Ferko, LBBP Ambassador Designate Resident of the Republic of Slovakia to the Republic of Indonesia;
  6. Mohammad Boroujerdi, LBBP Ambassador Appoints Resident of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the Republic of Indonesia;
  7. Nicholas Panayiotou, LBBP Ambassador Designate Free Republic Resident for the Republic of Indonesia;
  8. Gustavo Ricardo Coppa, Appointed LBBP AmbassadorResident of the Republic of Argentina for the Republic of Indonesia;
  1. Denis Chaibi, LBBP Ambassador Designate Resident of the European Union to the Republic of Indonesia;
  2. Shorna-Kay Marie Richards, LBBP Ambassador Designate Non Resident Jamaica based in Tokyo, Japan;
  3. Stefán Haukur Jóhannesson, LBBP Ambassador Designate Non Resident Iceland based in Tokyo, Japan;
  4. Robert Miky Takata Pimentel, LBBP Ambassador Designate Non Resident of the Dominican Republic based in Tokyo, Japan.
