“Wanxinda is a kind of different type of investment. Usually it goes straight to building a factory, but this investment will start from property development, developing several ready-to-use factory facilities and other supporting facilities that require more relevant schemes and we hope this will be a new breakthrough, because “For us, this is not easy either,” said Ngurah at the signing of the agreement, at Danareksa Tower, Tuesday, November 21 2023.
Ngurah hopes that this collaboration will not only be limited to PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang and Danareksa, but can also be extended to partners with companies under Danareksa.
On the same occasion, the President Director of PT Danareksa, Yadi Jaya Ruchandi, said that the investment was a large nominal amount. Therefore, his party is committed to ensuring that this investment can provide benefits for all parties, not only for Wanxinda but also for the community around Batang.
“They are committed to increasing investment to $1.5 billion. This can certainly provide benefits not only to Wanxinda but of course to the surrounding community,” he said.
Yadi revealed that this collaboration is in line with the national strategic project, where the Government is currently boosting investment into Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Yadi said that this collaboration has the potential to open up 200 thousand job opportunities specifically for people in Central Java.
“Investment will open up around 200 thousand job opportunities, especially for the people of Central Java and Wanxinda,” he concluded. (AT Network)
