Indonesia and World Bank Continue Collaboration on Land System Digitalization

ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency of the Republic of Indonesia continues collaboration with the World Bank this year for the land system digitalization program.

Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency, Raja Juli Antoni, said that thanks to this close collaboration, several programs such as Complete Systematic Land Registration with Community Participation (PTSL-PM), Pilot Project for Land Redistribution from Released Forest Areas, Digitization of Land Documents, to The renovation of the Archives Building has been successfully carried out.

He also asked his staff to immediately provide concepts and data to support the implementation of joint World Bank programs in 2024.

“Even though this is the last project, I hope it can show the seriousness of how this program can run effectively and efficiently, to become a strong foundation for our cooperation in the next five years or even 10 years,” he said in an official statement, quoted on Friday. , March 15, 2024.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency, Suyus Windayana, assessed that collaboration with the World Bank has accelerated strategic programs, especially digitalization.

According to him, the World Bank really supports digital transformation activities at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency, especially how to manage digital data better.

Apart from that, a lot of the World Bank’s budget is also used to improve the quality of human resources.

World Bank Land Administration Specialist, Dong Kyu Kwak appreciated the collaboration with the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency.

It is said, if we look at the projects that are already underway, the use of technology which is currently being developed is one of the elements that makes the ministry’s program a success.

“With this collaboration, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency and the World Bank can efficiently carry out all activities.

“The work of the World Bank Team has become very easy because of the many dashboards and all the information systems which are very useful for managing the progress of this project,” he explained. (ATN)
