In his address, President Prabowo Subianto emphasized the vital role of TNI in safeguarding national sovereignty and integrity amidst global challenges.

“TNI must continue to train, strengthen, and adapt to the times and technology,” he said.

He also underlined that military leadership selection should be based on merit, achievement, and patriotism, not merely seniority.

“The key is performance, dedication, and love for the nation,” Prabowo stated.

National Strength Displayed: 133,000 Soldiers and 1,047 Defense Assets

A total of 133,480 personnel and 1,047 defense systems (Alutsista) were deployed, symbolizing TNI’s readiness to defend Indonesia’s sovereignty and respond to global threats.

With the theme “TNI Prima, TNI Rakyat, Indonesia Maju” (Professional TNI, People’s TNI, Progressive Indonesia), the event showcased professionalism, discipline, and the deep bond between the military and the people.

Spectacular demonstrations included:

Jupiter Aerobatic Team (JAT) and Rajawali Laut air show,

Fighter jets and helicopter maneuvers,

Tactical martial arts (BDT) and Military Pencak Silat,

Cavalry charges and disaster response simulations (Gulbencal).

The celebration culminated with a special forces parachute jump, white dove release as a symbol of peace, and a breathtaking flypast and dogfight performance over Jakarta’s skyline.

Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin reaffirmed that the true strength of TNI comes from the people and serves the people.

“Through synergy between the Ministry of Defense, the TNI, and all national components, the Armed Forces continue to evolve into a professional, modern, and globally adaptive defense force,” Sjafrie said.

On the eve of the main ceremony, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin attended a Joint Prayer and National Parade at Monas.

Thousands of participants from TNI units, the Ministry of Defense, interfaith leaders, and the general public gathered in a powerful display of unity.

A national sermon was delivered by Ustadz Adi Hidayat, highlighting brotherhood, sincerity, and collective responsibility in preserving Indonesia’s unity.

The event concluded with a National Parade, featuring tactical military vehicles (Ran TNI), released by Minister Sjafrie, accompanied by TNI Commander and Service Chiefs — symbolizing the spirit of solidarity and national defense. (AT Network)
