The Cities of Tangerang and Yantai, China Establish Sister City Relations

ASIATODAY.ID, TANGERANG – The governments of Tangerang City and Yantai City, located in Shandong Province, east China, are starting to establish a sister city relationship.

This collaboration in various fields was marked by the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, on Wednesday, April 24 2024.

Cooperation between the two cities covers the fields of business, industry and education.

The Mayor of Yantai, Zheng Deyan, hopes that this collaboration will further strengthen the strategic partnership that has existed between Indonesia and China, as well as being an opportunity to mutually promote the various potentials of the two cities and countries. (ATN)
