ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The Indian airline, Vistara, launched its first flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), Delhi, to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), Bali.
This flight arrived successfully in Bali at 11.05 local time.
Starting December 1 2023, Vistara will serve daily flights on the DPS-DEL route and vice versa.
Vistara is an Indian airline based in Gurugram and operationally based at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). This airline is a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines.
Currently, the company has a fleet of 63 aircraft, including 48 Airbus A320neo, 10 A321neo and 5 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
Since starting operations on January 9 2015, Vistara has continued to expand its network and has connected 47 destinations both within and outside India.
This first flight was the beginning of a strategic partnership between Vistara and PT JAS Aero Engineering Services.
PT JAS Aero Engineering Services (JAE), which is a provider of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services, has been trusted to serve Certification Release, Technical Ramp, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and Bonded Store for the first flight of the Indian airline, Vistara in Indonesia.
