ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – A woman from Indonesia named Mayawati Bracken was found dead in a car in Berkshire, England, due to stab wounds.
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in London is currently coordinating with the local police to uncover this incident.
“The Indonesian Embassy in London is coordinating with the local police regarding the murder of Mayawati Bracken,” said Director of Protection of Indonesian Citizens and Indonesian Legal Entities, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Judha Nugraha, in a written statement, Monday, January 8 2024,
Judha explained that Mayawati Bracken’s passport had expired on August 16 2023, and the Indonesian Embassy was verifying her citizenship status.
“The victim’s passport was recorded as having expired on August 16 2023 and he did not apply for another passport extension,” explained Judha.
Mayawati Bracken was found dead in Berkshire on Thursday, January 4 2024 at around 17.45 local time. This 56 year old woman is known to have three children.
Quoting Dailymail, a friend revealed that Maya came from Indonesia and met a man named Michael in Hong Kong, then the two of them got married. (AT Network)
