2024 Election in Indonesia: Prabowo-Gibran Leads Quick Count Results

ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The 2024 elections in Indonesia on Wednesday, February 14 2024 took place in an orderly and peaceful manner.

Millions of people in the country have been flocking to the polling stations to exercise their right to vote since morning.

Based on the quick count results summarized from three survey institutions, it shows that the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 02, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka is leading the vote tally as of 15.00 WIB.

Quick count results released by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI), the Prabowo-Gibran pair won 57.53% of the vote. At the same time, the quick count results broadcast by Poltracking Indonesia showed that the vote acquisition for candidate number 02 reached 60.52%.

Meanwhile, quick count results from the Indonesian Political Indicators survey institute show that the Prabowo-Gibran pair received 59.63% of the vote.

Following are the complete results of the votes obtained by all candidate pairs based on quick counts from the three institutions as of 15.00 WIB:

01. Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar

LSI: 24.99%
Poltracking Indonesia : 21.14%% Indonesian Political Indicators: 23.50%

02. Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming

LSI: 57.53%
Poltracking Indonesia: 60.52%
Indonesian Political Indicators: 59.63%

03. Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md

LSI: 17.48%
Poltracking Indonesia: 18.33%
Indonesian Political Indicators: 16.96%

Meanwhile, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) quick count results, which were released at 15.40 WIB with votes coming in at 55.85 percent, showed that Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka were temporarily ahead with a percentage of 58.77 percent. Followed by the pair Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar with a figure of 24.40 percent. Meanwhile, the pair Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md are in third position with a percentage of 16.84 percent.

This quick count was carried out using a population of 2,000 polling stations spread across 38 provinces. The sample was selected using the Multistage Random Sampling method.

Meanwhile, the confidence level for Quick Count is 95 percent with a Margin of Error of ±1%. This Quick Count involves at least 1 million voters.

For your information, the quick count results are not the final election results (real count) from the General Election Commission (KPU), so they cannot be guaranteed to be 100% accurate. (ATN)
