ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – Aircraft manufacturer from the United States, Boeing is ready to help and support the Indonesian aerospace industry to realize the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045.

“We are very interested in partnering with the Indonesian government in realizing the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045,” said Country Managing Director of Boeing Indonesia, Zaid Alami in Jakarta, Monday, June 10 2024.

He said that currently Boeing is collaborating not only with the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), but also with a number of Ministries, regulators and companies. Because, to achieve the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045, what is needed is not only collaboration with the government but also includes aspects of the supply chain, customers, airports, including partnering with universities.

“We need to look at the aviation ecosystem as a whole, and that’s our commitment,” he said.

According to Zaid, Boeing is ready to help and support the growth of the aerospace industry in Indonesia holistically.

“We want to ensure that we are ready to help and support the growth of the aerospace industry in Indonesia holistically, not just with one element, and that is our role in helping the vision of Indonesia 2045,” he said.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) projects that Indonesia will become the fourth largest commercial aviation market in the world.

“Boeing wants to make this happen, and to achieve this it cannot depend on just one element or aspect,” said Zaid.

He added that the aim of this holistic focus is to explore and understand opportunities for Boeing to partner, opportunities to collaborate, and assist in achieving growth in the Indonesian aviation industry.

“So whether it is training, education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), partnering with our customers regarding efficiency, related to capacity building, sustainability, everything is part of our vision and we are very interested in collaborating and continuing our partnership with Indonesia for the next 75 years,” said Zaid.
