83.4 Percent of People Believe Prabowo Subianto Will Make Indonesia Better

ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The Indonesian Political Indicator Survey Institute noted that 83.4% of the people believe that the elected president Prabowo Subianto who leads the next five years will make Indonesia even better. That figure consists of 18.5% very sure and 64.9% sure.

“If we combine the numbers, it becomes 83.4%. This is very high in people’s confidence at the moment, and also shows true hope,” said the main researcher of Indonesian Political Indicators, Rizka Halida in the release “National Survey Findings: Public Evaluation of the 10 Years of President Joko Widodo’s Government ” on Friday, October 4, 2024.

In the survey, Political Indicators also asked respondents about urgent problems that must be resolved by Indonesian leaders in the next five years. There are four answers that get a proportion of more than 10%.

“What is most widely considered to be an urgent problem is controlling the prices of basic necessities, 29.7%. Then, providing employment or unemployment, 19.3%,” explained Rizka.

Apart from that, regarding the ability to reduce poverty by 12.7% and eradicate corruption by 10.1%.

“These are the top four answers. A total of 10% and above that according to citizens must be resolved by Indonesia’s leaders in the next five years. Many other problems were also answered by the public, but those are the top four which relate mainly to the economy and eradicating corruption,” he said.

This Political Indicator Survey was conducted in the period 22 to 29 September 2024 with a total of 1,200 Indonesian respondents. The survey method uses multistage random sampling. The margin of error is around 2.3% with a confidence level of 95%. (AT Network)
