ASIATODAY.ID, BALI – Indonesian authorities in Bali have arrested Hector Aldwin Pantollana, a fugitive from the Philippines accused of committing investment fraud worth US$67 million.
Pantollana is known as a casino junket operator in the Philippines. He was arrested on November 9 at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport using a biometric system.
He first arrived in Bali on October 10, and on October 31 Interpol issued a Red Notice to arrest him. Pantollana has now been taken to Jakarta for further investigation and will be deported to the Philippines on Wednesday, November 27 2024.
Philippine police accused Pantollana of defrauding thousands of people through fake investments that generated more than 4 billion Philippine pesos.
