Indonesia Arrests Philippine Fugitive Hector Aldwin, US$67 Million Investment Fraudster

ASIATODAY.ID, BALI – Indonesian authorities in Bali have arrested Hector Aldwin Pantollana, a fugitive from the Philippines accused of committing investment fraud worth US$67 million.

Pantollana is known as a casino junket operator in the Philippines. He was arrested on November 9 at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport using a biometric system.

He first arrived in Bali on October 10, and on October 31 Interpol issued a Red Notice to arrest him. Pantollana has now been taken to Jakarta for further investigation and will be deported to the Philippines on Wednesday, November 27 2024.
