ISACA Indonesia President Invites FEB Unpad Alumni to Strengthen Collaboration

ISACA Indonesia Chapter President, Syahraki Syahrir. Special

ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – ISACA Indonesia Chapter President, Syahraki Syahrir, invited alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) to strengthen networks and collaborations in order to accelerate innovation and produce real solutions for the business world and the wider community.

This statement was quoted when Syahraki attended the seminar “Navigating the Future Business Landscape and GRC Outlook 2025” as a panelist, which was held at the FEB Theater, Lead Building, Universitas Padjadjaran, on Friday, March 14, 2025.

In the seminar, Syahraki was present as an industry practitioner to discuss the results of research conducted by DIGITS UNPAD and Veda Praxis related to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) trends and factors that will influence GRC implementation in 2025, including in the context of digitalization. The collaboration between Veda Praxis and DIGITS Unpad is not the first.

Last year, both have collaborated in the research ‘Gap Study & Strategic Needs of GRC Implementation: Analysis of Perception & Reality of GRC Implementation Across Industries’. The sustainability of this collaboration shows the commitment in bridging the gap between theory and practice in the industrial world.

As a leader at Veda Praxis, one of Southeast Asia’s leading management consulting firms focused on digital, GRC, and cybersecurity, Syahraki has extensive experience in helping companies face the challenges of digital transformation and sustainable governance.

Facing an increasingly complex business and regulatory landscape amidst rapid technological developments, Syahraki emphasized the importance of innovation and digital transformation in strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance. He highlighted that organizations need to adapt quickly to stay competitive.

“Collaboration between academics and practitioners is key to facing future challenges. Alumni have a strategic role in building an ecosystem that supports this synergy. A strong alumni network can be a platform for sharing experiences, resources, and professional connections,” said Syahraki.

As an alumni of FEB Unpad, Syahraki emphasized his commitment to supporting various initiatives that strengthen the relationship between alumni, academics, and industry.

According to him, alumni must be more active in mentoring programs, collaborative research, and social projects that provide real benefits to society.

He also highlighted the role of DIGITS Unpad as a center for the development of digitalization and information technology in the campus environment. The involvement of alumni in programs initiated by DIGITS Unpad is expected to increase the capacity of students and academics in facing the digital era, while opening up more opportunities for innovation and collaborative research.

The close synergy between alumni, academics, and practitioners is expected to create a conducive environment for professional and academic growth and encourage the birth of innovative solutions to answer the challenges that continue to develop.

In addition, a strong alumni network is also expected to increase the role of FEB Unpad in developing insights, skills, and opportunities for its students and alumni. (AT Network)
