ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA — Indonesian promoter Arvindo has officially announced a solo concert for children’s music group Glitter as part of its commitment to supporting the children’s entertainment industry, which many believe is gradually losing space for young audiences to express themselves.
The concert is being prepared as age-appropriate entertainment for children while also offering an unforgettable experience for family audiences.
Arvindo representative Ervy Juliawita said the idea for the concert emerged from concerns over the limited number of shows and concerts specifically designed for children.
“For years, many children have ended up attending concerts aimed at adults because there are very few entertainment options made for their age group. Child performers are also becoming increasingly rare. That is why we want to provide entertainment that truly suits children,” she explained on May 22, 2026.
Ervy Juliawita expressed optimism that the Glitter concert would receive a positive response from the public. Before finalizing the event, the organizers even conducted surveys at several schools involving children aged between 4 and 12 years old.
“It turns out many of them are already familiar with Glitter, so we are confident this concert will be well received,” she said.
Initially, the event was planned as a mini concert. However, after extensive discussions with Trinity, the concept evolved into a full-scale solo concert with more comprehensive preparations that have been underway since February 2026.
The concert is expected to attract around 1,200 attendees and will feature more than just Glitter’s performance. Special collaborations with Queen Salman and Ari Nagafamily are also scheduled to appear.
Adding to the excitement, Glitter will perform with a full live band, complete with dancers, spectacular stage visuals, giant LED screens, and additional performers to create a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout the show.
“The key idea behind this concert is creating a core memory for children. We want them, when they grow older, to still remember attending a Glitter concert,” the promoter stated.
To promote the event, Arvindo plans to utilize its outdoor advertising network across Jakarta and other cities so the concert can reach a wider audience throughout Indonesia.
Looking ahead, Arvindo also hopes to continue organizing positive activities dedicated to children, both in Jakarta and in other regions across the country. (Silvia Andriani)
