ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The Indonesian government and the Gresini Racing Moto GP Team have agreed to continue their collaboration until 2025. This collaboration is expected to expand the market for brands from Indonesia on the international stage.
Indonesian Tourism and Creative Economy has been a sponsor of Gresini Racing since 2022. Both parties have then renewed the cooperation contract until 2025.
“This is part of the promotion of well-known Indonesian brands by sponsoring Gresini Racing,” said the Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, quoted Wednesday, February 7 2024.
Apart from introducing brands from Indonesia to the international market, this collaboration also aims to encourage an increase in the number of foreign tourist arrivals to Indonesia.
Moreover, the “Wonderful Indonesia” brand, which also sponsors the team strengthened by Marc Marquez and his younger brother, Alex Marquez, is widely known as a brand promoting Indonesian tourism and creative economy in the domestic and international markets.
“This is also the time for us to invite our co-branding partners to support Gresini Racing,” he said.
Sandiaga said that this collaboration is also hoped to be a momentum to develop Indonesia’s tourism potential, especially automotive tourism and sports tourism.
“We hope that the Gresini Racing team can achieve achievements and make the Indonesian people proud and increase the exposure of the brands that sponsor this team,” said Sandiaga.
The brands sponsoring this team include Federal Oil, Aspira, Antangin, MS Glow Men, Bold Riders and Riding Style. (AT Network)
