Iran Vows to Turn Israel into a “Scorched Earth”

A snapshot of the destruction in the Beit Shemesh area, where nine Israelis were killed after being hit by an Iranian missile. In fact, many areas of damage in Israel were caused by Iranian missile and drone attacks, but the Zionist military censored them. Special

ASIATODAY.ID, TEHRAN – Tensions in the Middle East have reached a new boiling point as Iran vows to devastate Israel following a series of missile and drone strikes targeting military sites across the region.

The attacks triggered widespread panic in major Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv and areas surrounding Jerusalem.

Air raid sirens echoed through the night after several hours of relative calm. Residents rushed to bunkers and shelters as Israel’s air defense systems were activated to intercept incoming missiles launched from Iran.

The Israeli military said at least five missiles were fired in two separate waves. Three missiles were launched within a short time frame, followed hours later by two additional strikes. Although most were reportedly intercepted, falling debris struck several locations, causing damage and injuries.

Israel’s emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, reported that a man suffered serious neck injuries from missile shrapnel. Several others sustained minor injuries while rushing to shelters after the sirens sounded.

Authorities urged civilians to remain inside protected areas until further instructions were issued by the Home Front Command.

Attacks Extend to U.S. Military Bases

The escalation has not been limited to Israel. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that about 100 U.S. troops were wounded in missile and drone strikes targeting Al-Udairi Air Base in Kuwait.

In an official statement, the IRGC said the operation was part of the 38th wave of Operation True Promise 4, launched on the night of Laylat al-Qadr, one of the holiest nights in the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

According to Iranian sources, the strikes hit a U.S. helicopter base at Al-Udairi. More than 100 American service members were reportedly injured and transferred to Al-Jaber Hospital and Al-Mubarak Hospital in Kuwait for treatment.

Iran also claimed to have struck key infrastructure at a U.S. military facility in Mina Salman Port, home to the United States Fifth Fleet. Critical systems, equipment warehouses, and troop barracks were reportedly damaged in the missile and drone attacks.

Additional U.S. military facilities in Mohammad al-Ahmad and Ali al-Salem were also said to have suffered significant damage.

Iran Prepares Heavy “Monster” Missiles

Meanwhile, commanders of the IRGC signaled that attacks on Israel could intensify dramatically. Iran warned it would begin deploying heavy missiles with warheads weighing at least one ton against Israeli targets.

IRGC commander Hossein Majid stated that Iran would no longer rely on smaller warhead missiles and instead would use its stockpile of high-destructive-power weapons against Israeli territory and U.S. military installations across the Middle East.

Iran previously announced the launch of the Khorramshahr-4 ballistic missile, which carries a warhead estimated to weigh 1.5 to 1.8 tons, toward Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv.

Targets reportedly included parts of Tel Aviv as well as facilities used by the 27th Squadron of the Israeli Air Force, located within the airport complex.

Iran claimed the strategic missile was launched alongside attack drones and managed to penetrate several layers of Israeli air defense.

Hypersonic Missiles Rain Down

Under Operation True Promise 4, Iran said it deployed several heavy ballistic missile systems, including Ghadr, Emad, Fattah, and Kheibar missiles, all designed for high-impact strikes.

Some of the weapons were described as hypersonic missiles, intended to evade advanced air defense systems such as Israel’s Iron Dome and the U.S.-supplied THAAD systems deployed in the region.

Iranian sources claimed the barrage created “hellish conditions” in parts of Israel after several strategic and military targets were hit.

In the city of Beit Shemesh, reports indicated that nine Israeli civilians were killed in missile strikes. Other damage sites were reportedly not publicly disclosed due to Israeli military censorship rules.

“We Will Decide When the War Ends”

The IRGC stated that military operations against Israel and the United States would continue with no immediate negotiations.

“We seek nothing less than the enemy’s complete surrender,” the IRGC declared.

The statement was also a response to comments by U.S. President Donald Trump, who earlier suggested the war with Iran was nearing its end.

Iran dismissed the claim, insisting that neither Washington nor Tel Aviv would determine the outcome of the conflict.

“We will decide when the war ends,” the IRGC said.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Defense reported that approximately 150 American troops have been wounded since hostilities with Iran escalated more than a week ago, highlighting the growing impact of Iranian retaliation on U.S. military positions across the Middle East.

The latest escalation has heightened global fears that the confrontation between Iran, Israel, and the United States could spiral into a much wider regional war, potentially threatening global security and critical energy supply routes.

Humanitarian Emergency

The war in the Middle East is rapidly intensifying, unleashing a growing humanitarian catastrophe and raising alarm across the international community.

Continuous strikes and counter-strikes across the region are increasing civilian casualties, forcing hundreds of thousands from their homes, and threatening global economic stability.

According to the United Nations, the conflict has entered a dangerous phase as civilians become the primary victims of escalating violence. Families are fleeing their homes in panic as airstrikes intensify in several areas, particularly in Lebanon.

At the Masnaa border crossing between Lebanon and Syria, large crowds of men, women, and children have gathered with their belongings, desperately waiting for a chance to cross the border and escape the ongoing Israeli bombardment.

Mass Displacement Sweeps Across Lebanon

UN humanitarian agencies warn that the scale of displacement is growing rapidly. Lebanon has become one of the most severely affected areas, with hundreds of thousands of people already forced to flee in just days of escalating hostilities.

Many displaced families are now living in overcrowded shelters, on streets, or in temporary camps with limited access to food, clean water, and healthcare.

Humanitarian organizations fear the situation could spiral into a wider regional crisis if fighting continues, overwhelming already fragile support systems.

Infrastructure Damage Threatens Global Supply Chains

The consequences of the conflict are extending far beyond the battlefield. Damage to critical infrastructure and disruptions to shipping routes across the region are raising serious concerns about global supply chains.

The United Nations warns that instability in key energy corridors could trigger significant spikes in oil and gas prices worldwide. Such disruptions may also drive up transportation costs, increasing the price of food and essential goods across many countries.

Economists caution that developing nations—already vulnerable to inflation and supply shocks—could face worsening food insecurity if the crisis escalates further.

UN Calls for Urgent De-escalation

Amid the escalating violence, the United Nations is urging all parties to halt attacks and prioritize the protection of civilians.

The UN Security Council is expected to hold emergency discussions to address the rapidly deteriorating situation and explore pathways to de-escalation.

However, as military operations continue across multiple fronts, the prospect of an immediate ceasefire remains uncertain.

If the conflict persists, the world may not only witness a deepening humanitarian disaster in the Middle East but also face broader economic repercussions driven by disrupted energy routes and rising global prices. (AT Network)
