ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – Southeast Asia continues to strengthen its position on the global live entertainment map as legendary American nu-metal band Limp Bizkit officially announced Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as its only concert destination in Asia for 2026. The announcement positions the Malaysian capital as a major gathering point for rock fans across the region.
Promoted by Hitman Solutions, Limp Bizkit Live in Malaysia One-Stop Asia Show will take place on December 9, 2026 at the National Hockey Stadium, Bukit Jalil.
Beyond marking the bands long-awaited Malaysian debut, the concert is expected to attract thousands of fans from Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and other Asian countries seeking the only opportunity to experience the band live in the region.
The decision to stage only one performance in Asia highlights the growing importance of Southeast Asia within the global touring circuit. As international promoters increasingly look toward the region, large-scale concerts are becoming catalysts for tourism, hospitality, transportation, and the broader creative economy.
Formed in Jacksonville, Florida, Limp Bizkit rose to international prominence during the late 1990s and early 2000s, becoming one of the defining names of the nu-metal movement. Fronted by Fred Durst, the band built a worldwide following through chart-topping tracks including Rollin, My Way, Break Stuff, and Nookie.
More than three decades into their career, Limp Bizkit continues to command global audiences with high-energy performances, large-scale stage productions, and a live experience that has remained one of the bands strongest trademarks.
Rohit Rampal, CEO and Founder of Hitman Group, described the concert as a milestone for both the organizer and rock fans throughout the region.
Bringing Limp Bizkit to Malaysia for the very first time is a major milestone, not only for us as organisers, but for rock and alternative music fans across the region. For more than three decades, Limp Bizkit has shaped the sound and culture of modern rock, yet Malaysian fans have never had the chance to experience them live here.
Meanwhile, Keeran D, Head of Special Projects at Hitman Solutions, emphasized that Kuala Lumpurs exclusive status makes the event even more significant.
With Kuala Lumpur confirmed as their only stop in Asia this year, this show becomes even more special. We are proud to make Malaysia the destination for fans across Asia to come together and witness a truly iconic band live on stage.
Ticket Sales Begin on 30 June
Official ticket sales will begin on June 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM (Malaysia Time). Indonesian fans can purchase Rockzone tickets through Tiket.com for IDR2,150,000.
