“The suspect admitted to entering Malaysia to hunt down and kill fellow Israelis because of family problems,” he said, quoted from the Straits Times, Saturday, March 30 2024.

“We do not believe his words and do not rule out the possibility that he has another agenda in Malaysia,” said Razarudin.

From the results of the investigation, it was revealed that the man arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on March 12 2024 from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He stayed at three other hotels before being arrested on March 27, 2024.

Razarudin emphasized that currently the investigation being carried out by the Malaysian Police is focused on the suspect’s alleged involvement in Mossad.

Regarding the Israeli man’s ownership of the gun, Razarudin said the gun was bought in Malaysia with cryptocurrency. Several types of pistols seized were a Sig Sauer, two Glocks, and a Smith & Wesson pistol.

The Malaysian Police Chief said that his party was now continuing to increase vigilance. Razarudin admitted that security improvements had been made, including to protect the Malaysian King Sultan Ibrahim, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and other officials. (ATN)
