ASIATODAY.ID, MOSCOW – The Minister of Defense who is also the elected Indonesian president, Prabowo Subianto, is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin Palace, Moscow, Russia.

Prabowo arrived at Vnukovo Airport, Moscow, Tuesday, July 30 2024, at 20.30 local time. Prabowo’s arrival was welcomed by the Indonesian Ambassador to the Russian Federation and Belarus, Jose Antonio Morato Tavares, the Indonesian Defense Attache to Moscow First Marshal TNI Jatmiko Adi, as well as the Deputy Director of State Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Aleksander Vladimirovich Prusov.

“This working visit marks an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Russia, especially in the defense sector,” said the official statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense.

The visit agenda begins with a meeting at the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, where Prabowo will meet with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Andrey Belusov. This meeting is expected to discuss various important issues related to defense cooperation between the two countries.
