Upon his arrival at the International Congress Centre, President Prabowo was warmly welcomed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt. The two leaders exchanged greetings and a firm handshake before President Prabowo proceeded to the main lounge area.
Inside the lounge, President Prabowo met and interacted with several global leaders attending the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit. The atmosphere was warm and filled with optimism as leaders shared their commitment to peace and humanitarian cooperation.
President Prabowo then joined other heads of state for an official photo session. Before the group photo, each leader had an individual photo session with U.S. President Donald J. Trump, who served as Co-Chair of the Summit. During the photo session, President Prabowo and President Trump were seen shaking hands and engaging in a friendly conversation.
Following the photo with President Trump, all participating heads of state took a group photo, symbolizing global solidarity and a shared determination to support peace efforts in the Middle East. President Prabowo stood in the front row, positioned between French President Emmanuel Macron and UAE Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
After the photo session, President Prabowo and other world leaders proceeded to the main hall for the official signing ceremony of the peace document. The agreement was signed by President Donald Trump, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, and Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar.
President Prabowo, seated beside President Macron, was among the leaders who witnessed the signing ceremony firsthand, underscoring Indonesia’s unwavering commitment to global peace and humanitarian diplomacy.
