Qatar Airways Opens Doha-Kualanamu Flight Route, Flying 3 Times a Week

ASIATODAY.ID, DELI SERDANG – Qatar Airways has officially operated its first flight on the Doha-Kualanamu route three times a week.

On this inaugural flight, 76 passengers from Qatar arrived at Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, Monday, January 15 2024.

“This airline has a capacity of 22 business class seats and 232 economy class seats. The aircraft type is Boeing 787 Dreamliner with flight number QR966,” said President Director of PT Angkasa Pura Aviation Achmad Rifai at Kulanamu Airport.

According to Achmad, the presence of Qatar Airways at Kualanamu Airport not only opens up opportunities for the local economy, but also strengthens the region’s position as a major aviation hub in the Southeast Asia region.

“In order for this flight to continue, of course everything is in our hands. It is hoped that all parties can work together to make Qatar Airways flights on the Doha-Kulanamu route and vice versa continue to exist,” he explained.
