Thousands of Norwegian Cruise Lane Tourists Visit Jakarta and Lombok

ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The flow of cruise ship tourists to Indonesia is starting to get busy.

Most recently, Norwegian Cruise Lane became the first cruise ship to dock at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta in 2024. The cruise ship arrived at Tanjung Priok Port carrying 1,800 foreign tourists.

“These tourists come from Europe,” said Head of Public Relations for the North Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-Department, Yusuf Maulana, Sunday, February 4 2024.

The tourists visited various tourist destinations in Jakarta, and received explanations about the history, culture and culinary specialties of Jakarta. Destinations visited included Sunda Kelapa Harbor, Ancol, Kota Tua, National Monument (Monas), and shopping for Indonesian crafts in Sarinah.
