ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum, Southeast Asia’s largest defense exhibition, officially concluded on Saturday, June 14, 2025, with resounding success.

Held at JIExpo Kemayoran in North Jakarta, the event was attended by 1,182 companies from 55 countries, solidifying its position as one of the world’s most prestigious defense platforms this year.

With the theme “Defence Partnerships for Global Peace & Stability,” Indo Defence 2025 served as a vital platform to strengthen global defense cooperation and promote international peace. The event attracted over 40,000 visitors, reflecting widespread enthusiasm for innovation in the defense sector.

The exhibition was officially closed by Rear Admiral Sri Yanto, Director General of Defense Potential (Dirjen Pothan) at the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, who expressed deep appreciation for the participants, visitors, sponsors, and organizing committee.

“It is an honor and a privilege to conclude this exhibition, which has proven to be an essential platform for the defense industry to showcase its latest innovations and technologies,” said Rear Admiral Yanto.

Public Day Draws Enthusiastic Crowd

On its final day, Indo Defence 2025 opened its doors to the general public as a gesture of appreciation for their ongoing support of the national defense industry. Thousands of people from diverse backgrounds attended to experience firsthand the latest defense technologies and proudly view the innovations created by Indonesian talents.

The overwhelming public interest underscored national pride and support for safeguarding sovereignty through technological advancement in defense.

Following the closing ceremony, Rear Admiral Yanto and his entourage toured the exhibition booths, accompanied by a traditional Tor-Tor dance performance from North Sumatra, complete with the resonant sounds of gondang drums, adding a rich cultural ambiance to the event.

Senior officials from the Ministry of Defense also took time to warmly greet exhibitors and express appreciation for their participation and the groundbreaking innovations displayed.
