“IIMS is not merely an exhibition. It is a barometer of industry confidence. The strong participation of global automotive brands and the diversity of programs at IIMS 2026 reflect the industry’s readiness to grow further this year,” the minister said.
He noted that IIMS has recorded consistent growth over the past three years, with transaction values rising from IDR 5.3 trillion in 2023, to IDR 6.7 trillion in 2024, and reaching IDR 8 trillion (approximately US$470 million) in 2025.

Larger Scale, More Ambitious Targets
Dyandra Promosindo President Director Daswar Marpaung said IIMS 2026 is designed to be more than an annual auto show, positioning itself as a collaborative platform for the entire automotive ecosystem.
Under the theme “Your Infinite Autotainment Experience,” this year’s exhibition features a significantly expanded area, covering the Grand Hall and Gambir Expo Area, Energized by Pertamina.
“The expansion reflects the industry’s strong confidence in IIMS and the vast potential of Indonesia’s automotive market,” Daswar said.
Meanwhile, IIMS 2026 Project Manager Rudi MF stated that the 11-day event, running from February 5 to 15, 2026, targets more than IDR 8 trillion in total transactions and 579,337 visitors.
To support these goals, IIMS 2026 introduces new ‘Sportainment’ concepts, integrating automotive showcases with lifestyle and sports activities such as golf, padel, fitness, and wellness programs. Educational initiatives are also strengthened through Edutainment programs, including school competitions.
Signature annual programs such as IIMS Infinite Live, Test Drive and Test Ride, automotive community experiences, drift shows, off-road attractions, and industry awards return this year, alongside new features including the Kart Board Experience.
