ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – Indonesian Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono emphasized his commitment to eradicating the land mafia in the country.
In carrying out this commitment, AHY will take a firm approach in enforcing the rule of law.
“Be firm, not just slash, but be firm, we don’t want anyone to break the law in our country. Including the land mafia, which we know causes a lot of harm to the people, harms the state, so we hope that there will be tactical steps,” said AHY after being inaugurated. by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Jakarta, Wednesday, February 21 2024.
After inaugurating AHY, President Jokowi said he had no hesitation in choosing the general chairman of the Democratic Party. According to him, AHY has the ability to occupy this position.
“I have no hesitation in giving a place to the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning because this is a management matter,” said Jokowi.
He said that AHY was an alumnus of the Military Academy and a graduate of Nanyang University, Harvard University and Webster University. Thus, Jokowi considers AHY suitable to serve as Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning.
President Jokowi gave three targets to Minister AHY. First, Jokowi asked that the distribution of electronic certificates be accelerated. Apart from that, he asked AHY to immediately resolve the land issue regarding carbon trading. Because, many parties want to enter this sector.
Finally, Jokowi reminded that there are 120 million plots of land that must be entered into the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL). He asked AHY to complete it before his term of office ends in October 2024. (ATN)
