Rano Karno welcomed the transformation, saying the New Look Branch reflects Bank Jakarta’s commitment to continuously innovate and respond to the changing needs of society.

“Bank Jakarta has an important role not only in providing financial services, but also in supporting business growth, expanding financing access, and encouraging Jakarta’s economic transformation,” Rano said.

He added that expanding financial accessibility remains a key priority to ensure more communities can benefit from reliable banking services.

Transforming the Banking Experience

Located in one of Jakarta’s strategic commercial areas, KCP Kebayoran Park introduces the concept of Modern, Accessible, Connected, creating a more open, comfortable, and personalized banking environment.

The transformation is not limited to a redesigned physical space. It also includes improvements in service processes, digital integration, employee readiness, and a refreshed corporate identity aimed at delivering a simpler, faster, and more seamless customer experience.

Bank Jakarta President Director Agus H. Widodo said the launch represents a fundamental transformation in the bank’s approach to serving customers.

“Today, we are not simply inaugurating a new office. What is changing is not only the appearance of the branch, but also the way we serve the community. Transformation becomes meaningful when customers experience services that are easier, faster, more comfortable, and more human,” Agus said.

According to Agus, physical branches remain highly relevant despite the rapid expansion of digital banking because trust is built through direct interaction and meaningful relationships.

“The future of banking is not about choosing between digital channels and physical branches. It is about creating intelligent, efficient, and digitally connected branches that deliver the best experience for customers,” he said.

A Blueprint for Future Expansion

Agus explained that the Kebayoran Park branch serves as the first prototype of Bank Jakarta’s next-generation branch network, which will become a model for future transformation across its offices.

Through improvements in service space, operational processes, and digital capabilities, Bank Jakarta aims to create branches that are more aligned with the lifestyle and expectations of modern urban communities.

“We are not simply building more attractive branches. We are creating branches that are more relevant to the way people live today. This service model will gradually be implemented across our network to ensure customers receive a modern, fast, comfortable, and consistent experience,” Agus said.

Meanwhile, Kebayoran Park Mall & Hotel management welcomed Bank Jakarta’s presence, saying the new branch strengthens financial access and complements the growing business ecosystem in the area.

“We appreciate Bank Jakarta’s trust in establishing its branch at Kebayoran Park. We hope this presence creates greater value for tenants, visitors, and the surrounding community,” said Tety Kurniawaty Wijaya.

Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said the New Look Branch is part of the company’s broader transformation roadmap and the consistent implementation of its refreshed identity.

“The New Look Branch reflects Bank Jakarta’s transformation into an adaptive, innovative, and future-ready financial institution capable of responding to the evolving banking industry,” Arie said.

Through this transformation, Bank Jakarta aims to strengthen its position as a modern regional development bank that contributes to financial inclusion, economic growth, and Jakarta’s ambition to become a globally competitive city. (Silvia Andriani)
