ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – President of Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto has officially revoked the business permits of 28 companies found guilty of environmental violations, particularly activities contributing to floods in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. The affected companies operate in forestry, mining, and plantation sectors.

This decision followed a Virtual Limited Meeting on January 19, 2026, led by President Prabowo, involving ministries, agencies, and the Forest Area Control Task Force. During the meeting, the task force presented its investigation reports on companies found guilty of environmental violations.
