ASIATODAY.ID, MADINAH — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) on Friday, January 23, 2026 has issued a weather alert for the Madinah Region, warning of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by strong winds, thunderstorms, hail, and potential flash floods.

According to NCM, the severe weather conditions could result in near-zero visibility, posing risks to residents, pilgrims, and travelers across the region. The alert remains in effect until 8:00 p.m. local time.

Authorities urged the public to exercise heightened caution, avoid flood-prone areas, and strictly follow safety guidelines issued by relevant agencies.
