Jadestone Energy Enters Final Commissioning of Gas Facilities in Jambi

ASIATODAY.ID, JAMBI – Cooperation Contract Contractor (KKKS) Jadestone Energy (Lemang) Pte. Ltd., successfully completed important milestones in the form of mechanical completion and initial gas flow into the facility from the well. This is the final phase of commissioning towards the commercialization of gas, condensate and LPG in Bram Itam sub-district, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province.

Construction of the Akatara Gas Processing Facility and Sales Gas Pipeline Project has been carried out since September 2022.

General Manager of Jadestone Energy (Lemang) Pte. Ltd., Andi Iwan Uzamah said that on June 18 2024 Jadestone had completed mechanical completion and continued with the first flow of gas from the well into the facility on June 22 2024.

“This is the result of extraordinary efforts from all parties, not only from the Jadestone team but also from the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas), Contractors, Government and other Stakeholders,” he explained. quoted Wednesday, June 26 2024.

Head of the SKK Migas Program and Communications Division, Hudi D. Suryodipuro, said that the completion of the construction of the Akatara gas facility is believed to be able to increase national gas production.

“The Akatara gas facility is certainly very helpful, distributing gas, so that gas commercialization can make a significant contribution to the country,” said Hudi.

According to Hudi, SKK Migas will continue to encourage KKKS, including Jadestone Energy (Lemang) Pte. Ltd., is not only building commercial gas facilities but also expanding exploration into new areas in Jambi province.
