ASIATODAY.ID, SINGAPORE – Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto received the Darjah Utama Bakti Cemerlang (Tentera) award, which is the highest military award from the Singapore government, on Tuesday, November 21 2023.
Prabowo arrived at the Singapore Presidential Palace at 12.30 local time. Prabowo’s arrival was welcomed directly by Minister of Defense Ng Eng Hen with a row of honor ceremony.
The award was given directly by the President of Singapore, Tharman Sanmugaratnam to Prabowo at the Singapore Presidential Palace.
Prabowo appreciated the highest military award. He said that cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore continues to increase and mutual respect for the interests of each country.
“This award is a sign that our relationship with Singapore continues to improve, defense cooperation continues to increase, Singapore is one of the countries close to us, our relationship has been around for a long time,” said Prabowo in his statement, Tuesday, November 21 2023.

The former Kopassus Commander General also expressed his gratitude for the increasingly harmonious cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore.
“From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank Singapore, a friendly country that has always lived in harmony with each other and can appreciate the appreciation of each other’s nations,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo hopes that this collaboration between Indonesia and Singapore can further encourage both countries to work and improve relations even better in the future.
