ASIATODAY.ID, PEKANBARU – The Indonesian National Army (TNI) Air Force and the Royal Malaysian Air Force are carrying out Coordinated Patrols to create a conducive situation in the border area, specifically in the Malacca Strait.

Roesmin Nurjadin Air Base Commander, Marshal TNI Mohammad Nurdin, said this activity was a form of defense cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia to maintain the security and stability of the two countries’ air space.

According to Nurdin, the strategic position of the Malacca Strait, which is one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world, also requires extra supervision.
