ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The Indonesian government continues to finalize preparations for the Bali International Airshow (BIAS) which will be held at Ngurah Rai International Airport on 18 – 21 September 2024.

“I ask that this be prepared thoroughly. “This is the right time for Indonesia to hold an Airshow, because Indonesia is predicted to become the 4th largest aviation industry in the world, so the aviation market in Indonesia continues to increase,” said Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut B. Pandjaitan while chairing the meeting. coordinating BIAS preparations in Bali, September 3 2024.

So far it has been reported that many leading companies will attend and participate at the BIAS 2024 event.

“I received reports that various leading companies, such as Airbus, Bell Helicopters, Boeing, Brahmos, DassaultAviation, Embraer, Garuda Indonesia, Leonardo, Lion Air, MBDA, PT DI, TextronAviation, and Thales, have been confirmed to attend and will participate in BIAS 2024 this,” said Luhut.

Luhut ensured the readiness of the foundation for cooperation between all parties, to ensure the continuity of the Airshow in Indonesia in the coming year.

This airshow will be held every odd year, still adapting to national and regional agendas.

“This airshow was held in Bali because Bali has its own charm and charisma, but it does not rule out the possibility of it being held in other areas, such as Banyuwangi, Mandalika, it could also be in Surabaya or Padang,” said Luhut. (ATN)
