ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA — After nearly two years of dispute, Avirtech Group and PT Terra Drone Indonesia have reached an amicable settlement regarding the dispute over the sale of certain company assets. Both parties have agreed to end all ongoing legal conflicts that have taken place in Indonesia and Singapore since November 2023.
Avirtech Group—which oversees PT Avirtech Solusi Teknologi (AST), PT Sky Tech Indonesia (STI), and Avirtech Pte Ltd (APL)—announced that the resolution with Terra Drone was achieved peacefully without any admission of wrongdoing from either side.
“Both parties have agreed to reconcile and withdraw all police reports previously filed in Indonesia,” said Syarif Hidayatullah, S.H., M.H., legal counsel for Avirtech Group from the law firm Hidayat, Hendiry & Indrawan, on Friday, October 24, 2025.
In addition, a civil case in Singapore between Rendy Ferixsen The and Avirtech Solutions Pte. Ltd. (ASPL) has also been resolved amicably.
Under the settlement agreement, both parties consented to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and a non-disparagement commitment, affirming that neither side will cause harm or make negative statements about the other following the peace agreement.
Avirtech Group stated: “As of August 2025, all parties have reached a peaceful resolution to conclude the sale of certain Avirtech Group assets to Terra Drone, with full release and settlement of obligations for all parties.”
The company also clarified public reports that previously suggested an acquisition process by Terra Drone. Avirtech emphasized that no company acquisition ever took place; the matter involved a partial asset sale transaction that was ultimately not completed and has now been formally resolved.
With the dispute now closed, Avirtech Group confirmed it continues to operate independently and normally, with no affiliations to any external parties. The group comprises three main entities: PT Avirtech Solusi Teknologi, PT Sky Tech Indonesia, and Avirtech Pte Ltd (Singapore).
“Aside from these three entities, no other company is authorized to use the Avirtech name or trademark,” the company asserted in its official statement.
This peaceful resolution marks the end of a lengthy dispute between two major drone and IoT technology firms and paves the way for renewed collaboration and innovation within the aerial mapping and technology industry across Southeast Asia. (Silvia Andriani)
