ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – Pijar Foundation Indonesia and PoliPoli Inc, a public policy platform based in Tokyo, have agreed to collaborate in the form of a Policy Fund to build the future of Southeast Asia.
“Through this initiative with PoliPoli Inc., the Pijar Foundation will expand its impact beyond the borders of Indonesia and help encourage inclusive socio-economic development in the Southeast Asia region,” said Pijar Foundation Executive Director Ferro Ferizka after signing the MoU in Tokyo, Tuesday, 19 December 2023.
Ferro said the Policy Fund would gather support from various donors, both domestic and international, who share the same passion for encouraging social transformation through innovation and policy.
“Cooperation is an essential value in the Asian community, and we are proud to be able to continue that value through this synergy. “Together with PoliPoli, we will combine the strengths of Japan and Southeast Asia in the fields of innovation and public policy to jointly solve the four inevitable futures of energy, food, health and talent,” he said.
He assessed that by working hand in hand, ASEAN-Japan would be able to realize development for all.
This Policy Fund will provide financial support, knowledge and mentorship for institutions that shape future innovation, which can be used as models for public policy transformation. (AT Network)
