Several media outlets in India reported that the country’s Ministry of Coal and Ministry of Energy have reviewed coal supply data and electricity demand projections ahead of the winter season. Although power outages are rare during winter in most parts of India, there is still an increase in energy demand.
Both ministries are focused on ensuring sufficient coal supplies to support power plant operations and avoid potential power disruptions that could affect communities and the industrial sector. (AT Network)
