ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated ten Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) and one Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to friendly nations during a solemn state ceremony held at the State Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
The inauguration marks a new chapter in Indonesia’s diplomatic mission to strengthen its international presence and expand cooperation across strategic regions of the world.
The appointments were stipulated in Presidential Decree No. 112/P of 2025 on the Appointment of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia, and Presidential Decree No. 113/P of 2025 concerning the Appointment of the Deputy Ambassador.
During the ceremony led by President Prabowo, the newly appointed diplomats took their oaths of office in unison.
“In accepting the appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Deputy Ambassador, I pledge to remain faithful to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945 and to uphold all laws and regulations with utmost integrity, in dedication to my service to the nation and the state,” said President Prabowo Subianto, as he led the oath-taking ceremony.

2. Adam Mulawarman Tugio – Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Hanoi)
3. Andy Rachmianto – Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, concurrently accredited to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the European Union (Brussels)
4. Kuncoro Giri Waseso – Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt (Cairo)
5. Berlian Helmy – Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan (Baku)
6. R.M. Iman Hascarya Kusumo – Ambassador to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)
7. Listyowati – Ambassador to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and concurrently accredited to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal (Dhaka)
8. Syahda Guruh Langkah Samudera – Ambassador to the State of Qatar (Doha)
9. Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan – Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore (Singapore)
10. Laurentius Amrih Jinangkung – Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands (The Hague)
11. Irene – Deputy Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China (Beijing)

Following the oath-taking, the ceremony continued with the signing of the official inauguration documents and a congratulatory session with President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The atmosphere was filled with pride, warmth, and a sense of national duty.
Also in attendance were leaders of state institutions, cabinet ministers and deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces General Agus Subiyanto, and Chief of the Indonesian National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
President Prabowo emphasized that the appointment of the new ambassadors reflects the government’s firm commitment to enhancing Indonesia’s diplomatic, economic, and defense influence on the global stage.
“Indonesia must play a greater role in international affairs — to safeguard national interests and strengthen strategic partnerships with friendly nations amid an ever-changing global landscape,” President Prabowo affirmed.
