Ledakan Pasien Covid-19 di Indonesia Tembus 973 Sehari

ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – Indonesia mencatat ledakan jumlah pasien coronavirus (Covid-19).

Kamis (21/5/2020) hari ini, pasien positif bertambah 973 orang. Dengan demikian, total pasien positif menjadi 20.162 orang.

“Ini peningkatan jumlah tertinggi dan luar biasa,” terang Juru Bicara pemerintah untuk penanganan Covid-19 Achmad Yurianto dalam konferensi pers reguler di Graha BNPB, Jakarta, Kamis (21/5/2020).

Menurut Yuri, temuan peningkatan kasus merupakan hasil pemeriksaan 219.975 spesimen. Pemeriksaan dilakukan melalui polymerase chain reaction (PCR) dan tes cepat molekular (TCM).

Untuk pasien yang dinyatakan sembuh bertambah 263 orang sehingga total pasien capai 4.838 orang

Sementara pasien meninggal bertambah 36 orang sehingga total korban jiwa menjadi 1.278 orang.

Jumlah orang dalam pemantauan (ODP) sebanyak 50.187 orang. Sementara kasus PDP (pasien dalam pemantauan) sebanyak 11.066 orang. (ATN)
