ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC), an investment company from Saudi Arabia, will build the world’s first Dragon Ball amusement park.
Quoted from the official Dragon Ball website, Sunday, March 24 2024), this 500,000 square meter amusement park is part of the Qiddiya gigaproject developed by QIC.
The Dragon Ball theme park will feature seven different zones that recreate various iconic locations from the original series, such as Kame House, Capsule Corporation, and Planet Beerus.
At this amusement park, visitors can go on adventures with Goku and his friends while enjoying the world of Dragon Ball, from the initial anime series to Dragon Ball Super.
QIC will build five state-of-the-art rides as part of more than 30 types of attractions. Apart from that, they also built a 70 meter high Dragon Shenron which is equipped with a large scale roller coaster inside.
In addition, there will also be fully stocked hotels and restaurants in the park to allow fans to feel more at home in the world of Dragon Ball to have fun all day long.

Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) is the developer of the Qiddiya project – an entertainment, sports and arts center in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, the project was announced by Mohammed bin Salman as Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) on April 7 2017.
The foundation stone was laid on 28 April 2018 and the company, Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC), was incorporated as a closed joint stock company wholly owned by PIF on 10 May 2018.
As of 2020, Qiddiya has progressed from the planning to construction stages as mass assessment and site preparation begins supported by security fencing around the entire Qiddiya site. (ATN)
