ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto on Friday, December 19, 2025 officially swore in six new Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia, reinforcing the country’s diplomatic presence across Asia, Europe, and the Pacific.
The appointments were formalized under Presidential Decree No. 133/P of 2025, with President Prabowo personally administering the oath of office, underscoring the ambassadors’ commitment to the 1945 Constitution and Indonesia’s foreign policy priorities.
The newly appointed ambassadors are:
– Yusron Bahauddin Ambary – Ambassador to Algeria
– Okto Dorinus Manik – Ambassador to Papua New Guinea, concurrently accredited to the Solomon Islands
– Gina Yoginda – Ambassador to North Korea
– Rediyanto Heru Nurcahyo – Ambassador to Slovakia
– Hari Prabowo – Ambassador to Thailand, concurrently accredited to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP)
– Nurmala Kartini Pandjaitan Sjahrir – Ambassador to Japan, concurrently accredited to the Federated States of Micronesia. (ATN)
