Minister Airlangga emphasized that under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto, the government remains committed to maintaining economic stability, accelerating investment, and fostering a more conducive business climate.

“The government is committed to ensuring business certainty and accelerating investment. Dialogues like this are crucial to align our economic policies with the needs of the business community,” Airlangga stated.

The US-ABC delegation expressed strong interest in expanding investment in digital economy, clean energy, and food security sectors. They also discussed several ongoing challenges on the ground, including licensing procedures, infrastructure, and logistics.

Responding to these concerns, Minister Airlangga reaffirmed the government’s efforts to enhance the investment ecosystem, making it more efficient, transparent, and investor-friendly. He also encouraged stronger engagement from the private sectors of both nations to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

According to Haryo Limanseto, Spokesperson for the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the meeting also explored potential collaborations in green investment, digitalization, and research and development between U.S. companies and Indonesian partners.

Minister Airlangga concluded the meeting by expressing appreciation for the contribution of U.S. businesses to Indonesia’s economic development.

He reiterated that the Indonesian Government is committed to strengthening partnerships with international investors to create new economic opportunities and expand the benefits of growth for both nations. (AT Network)
