ASIATODAY.ID, JAKARTA – The Asia-Pacific Anti-Corruption Forum 2025 officially concluded in Jakarta, September 25, 2025 with a strong message: transparency in both the public and private sectors is the key to breaking the chain of corruption.
Indonesia, through the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), positioned itself as a leader in the regional anti-corruption movement and a strategic partner in global diplomacy.
The prestigious event, titled the Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia and the Pacific (ACI) Regional Conference 2025, was jointly organized by KPK, the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
KPK Deputy Chair Agus Joko Pramono underscored the vital role of the business community in creating a healthy and transparent economic climate.
“The private sector is the main actor in the fight against corruption. This forum provides guidance for businesses, regulators, and policymakers in building an environment that supports anti-corruption practices,” he stated.
Meanwhile, strengthening public sector integrity was emphasized through the adoption of Public Integrity Indicators (PII) developed by the OECD. These indicators serve as tools to map corruption risks and assess governance quality, covering areas such as information transparency, conflict of interest management, lobbying regulations, and anti-bribery enforcement.
Didik Mulyanto, Coordinator of the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention (Stranas PK), stressed that effective corruption prevention in the public sector requires consistent monitoring and evaluation.
The forum also spotlighted the private sector through the Anti-Corruption Leaders Hub (ACLH). Acting Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring at KPK, Aminudin, highlighted the importance of a data-driven approach.
“We remain committed to strengthening relevant regulations and effective standard procedures for corruption prevention in the private sector,” he said.

The forum concluded with key recommendations for member states, including:
Strengthening anti-corruption regulations across sectors.
Leveraging digital technology to enhance oversight.
Implementing data-driven risk management in corporate governance.
