Both sides will strengthen collaboration through trade fairs, seminars, business forums, industry dialogues, conferences, MICE training, network development, and capacity-building programs aimed at helping Taiwanese businesses enter Indonesia’s large and dynamic market.

The Halal Cooperation MoU is the first bilateral agreement specifically focused on the halal sector. Key areas include:
Mutual recognition of halal certification
Promotion of Muslim-friendly services
Exchange of market information
Joint business forums and trade activities related to halal products
The agreement is expected to help Taiwanese enterprises better understand the characteristics of the halal industry and connect with the rapidly growing global halal market.
Expanding Market Access and Commercial Opportunities
As part of follow-up actions, Taiwan plans to continuously organize professional trade exhibitions to attract buyers from Indonesia and other countries.
Taiwan will also coordinate business delegations to participate in trade shows in Indonesia and conduct trade missions to explore new commercial opportunities.
Indonesia is the largest market in ASEAN and one of Taiwan’s most important trading partners under the New Southbound Policy (NSP).
The signing of the two MoUs reflects the strong commitment of both economies to enhancing dialogue platforms, facilitating trade flows, and building a mutually beneficial economic partnership. (AT Network)
